The Artist and the Double
by G.H. Hovagimyan, bringing together AI art, net art, performance, sound, archival material, and interactive installation. At its center is GH_Doppelgänger, a digital twin developed from the artist’s writings, artworks, interviews, and recorded memory. Visitors encounter an artificial double that can speak, answer questions, and reflect on its own construction.
The project connects Hovagimyan’s three decades of networked practice with contemporary questions of identity, authorship, memory, voice, and artificial intelligence. Conceived as a modular museum exhibition, it can incorporate conversational interfaces, live demonstrations, video, historical documentation, and Gestation recordings.
The five-page exhibition proposal introduces the curatorial premise, principal works, installation possibilities, and potential forms of institutional collaboration.
