During the Fall election season I created a networked art piece called QR Election/Selection. I was working with the media-sphere information system and its spin-offs. There was a lot of chatter on broadcast TV referring to TikTok. I started searching TikTok with some of the gossipy undercurrents of the political season such as Trump Farting or the Kamela Coconut Controversy or Who’s the Racist etc.. Let’s not forget the Eating Cats and Dogs Dance. Anyway I found an amazing amount of creative expression pouring out and thought to capture some of it. I went to the TikTok page after searching a term and viewed the many videos that were presented from the search term. I took a screen grab of each search term age and put the URL into a URL creator. Then incorporated the QR code into the screen grab. The 20 images were printed out on card stock in an 8”x8” format for card wide and 5 cards high.  They were exhibited at The White Box Gallery in New York City during and after the election. Stephen Zacks one of the curators was gifted the original unsigned prints by me.  I have since then used the images to create  collection of NFTs. I’m offering them for sale on the Raribles platform. They are one of a kind digital assets. They also have quite a bit of “loaded” content. What would be fun is if many people would buy them. This is your chance to get one of my digital art pieces for an extremely low price. It’s also possible to buy the whole collection. You can also put in a bid price for the whole collection r each individual piece.
